  • Description

Many of the origins of high technologies found in homes, cars and the workplace can be traced back to military and commercial aviation. With the advancement of technical knowledge and capabilities finding their way into modern aircraft, the knowledge and capabilities of the aircraft maintenance technician and engineer must also keep pace. Using what we have learned in the first four modules, we will learn about electronic instrument systems, digital and analogue data systems and data conversion, methods and components involved in the transfer of data from a source to various parts of the aircraft. For advanced qualification levels, software management control, electromagnetic environments and an in-depth explanation of electronic and digital aircraft systems is made. An introduction to electrostatic sensitive devices for all qualification levels is also given.
