The scale is 16 cm, with a 0-point in the center (8-0-8) and an additional scale in NM for scales of 1:200,000 and 1:500,000. A 10 mm circle template is shown for left- and right-handed users. With the navigation triangle, you can measure distances directly from a map. Make sure the map is set to the correct scale. For the common scales of 1:500,000 and 1:200,000, the respective scale should be used directly. For other scales, distances can be easily calculated by multiplication or division.
